How very subliminal...

This was brought to my attention (thanks Fergus) at the weekend. An advert (in the Irish Times) for Hyundai no less, and one of their more fearsome vehicles literally crashing through the page of newsprint under the heading “This Weekend Experience Quality Uncontrolled”.

But worth noting is the small print at the top of the vehicle on the sheet ‘beneath’ the torn newspaper…which mentions the St. Andrews Agreement and The Taoiseach [click on the image to see the full size version].

Subliminal and topical at the same time?
