Hot Hoxha Sex September 6, 2007

Our friend at the Splintered Sunrise blog has in the past came up with more than one good idea I’ve stolen for use here in the Cedars, but the post that has often caused me the most amusement is his weekly trawl through the searches carried out by people that lead him to the site. I decided, as a once off, to take a look through our own searches for the last week being unable to come up with anything more interesting to write about today.
A lot of the searches are much what you’d expect. References to the CPI, BICO, Brendan Clifford and so on. I cherish the belief that the person who entered ‘cpi maoist people’s war theoretical journal’ could probably find no better site than this. A number for Greendale or Kilbarrack, proof that the original Cedars are still keeping it real.
Sean Hannity searches seem to end up here a lot. Porn comics, or variations thereof are also regular appearances and I get a warm glow from knowing those people have ended up reading a story dealing with the European Parliament.
But a couple defy explanation. What is the ‘hitler monkey experiment’ and what about it brought someone here? What are terrifying sounding ‘molester vans’? I’m suspecting nothing good. And I hope the person who asked the question ‘Why are vietnamese people so muscular?’ found an answer here in the Cedar Lounge, though I’m not sure how.
My favourite though has to be the search for ‘he hot sex of Albania’. Strange thing the internet, the connection between Enver Hoxha and hot sex had not occured to me heretofore. I hope with some fervour that it will not do so again.

Oddly, I hear the Albanian media are highly interested in the late Uncle Enver’s sexual history…
I was delighted this week to see that someone found me by looking for a “PLO fashion blog”.
More interestingly, though, someone with a Department of Justice ISP stumbled across my site through a search for “Fergus Toal”. I don’t know what they think they can get from my site that they don’t already know!
Wow, you guys are forensic in your approach. I’m impressed.
On a more serious note, I’m getting a lot of hits from people looking for information on the new residency restrictions for spouses of EU citizens – more than I usually get for my immigration posts, and I usually get a lot. It’s obviously a subject affecting a lot of people.
I meant to say that was a great post on that very subject you did Wednesday. It’s an absolute disgrace the way that has happened.
Thanks WBS. Unfortunately it’s just the latest in a long line of disgraceful immigration policy decisions (don’t get me started on the refusal to issue residency visas to underage children whose parents are both legal Irish residents or even citizens) and I doubt it will be the last.
