CMK, that’s it, is just so totally mundane and…well…shite really. That they progress from there into the ranks of the grown ups, having been indoctrinated and moulded by such a banal apolitical culture, and take over the family TD-ship from mammy/daddy, it’s just depressing, you’re right. Not a happy note on which to start the weekend
Yes, not a happy note. And I think you’ve struck upon something significant: that the point of the indocrination is precisely to churn out banal and apolitical operators who can then be trusted to carry out or enforce whatever orthodoxy is current and which will maintain FF in power or, less often sadly, get them into power.

Thanks CMK (and wbs for facilitating me), whilst naturally the focus is on ‘The Left’ for here, I try and throw in some things that would often grate with the audience here.
I looked at the pic of the revellers in the Ogra FF mag (I’ve a good few of them…btw its not guilt by association either – FF have been very good sending stuff over the years) and thought that night out would be the last place I’d ever want to be… bar maybe in with the home fans in Dalymount.
