We’ve already posted a link to the ULA site on these, but just to remind people… here are some more meetings…
Just an observation, I can’t help but feel that simply by making such a concerted effort to work on this together some good will come in terms of the overall tenor of relationships between the various formations represented. Isn’t that a positive?

any reports of the meetings that have been held?
I was at the Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford launches. Don’t have time to give a full report (which hopefully others can give) so briefly there were 200 plus in Cork. 50 in Carlow, 55 in Kilkenny, 50 in Wexford and 62 in Dublin West.
An average of two thirds at each are signing up to the ULA, most of whom are not members of the pre-existing organisations.
So a promising start. A number of the meetings are being brought forward because of the earlier than expected election. Details will follow.
Still no candidate in Dublin Central? C’mon Mark P. It’s time.
As far as I am aware Mark P is not in charge of choosing who we run or where.
Joe’s joking!
Yes I was joking. (Note to Budapestkick: I often am). The joke was that I wanted Mark P to stand in Dublin Central. That could be funny in many ways not least of which being which way his missus would vote – for Mark or for that looker from the WP…
But on a serious note, as a voter in Dublin Central, I would vote No.1 for a ULA candidate if there was one. I suppose if I was more serious about my politics, I’d be joining the ULA to help make that happen. But not there yet, unfortunately.
Thanks Michael. Much appreciated.
