Ireland After NAMA has a very good piece on “What are the real household charge numbers?” which comprises of

It gives a much more thorough picture of the liabilities relating to the household charge than the governments line, and that is the case whether you are for or against the charge.”
Despite the talk of over 50% having paid the household tax, having analyzed the figures, The conclusion is
% of property owners not registered 52
So less than half have registered. Hence I suppose all the recent talk of the next step in Property Tax being collected by The Revenue directly.
