Speaking of Rabbitte.Doesn’t Brian Hayes sound really like him?Listening to the radio the other day and heard a person who sounded like Rabbitte but it was Hayes!Am I imagining things?It’s a kind of” middle class,smug,I can use big words to say nothing” accent.Always have a picture of Rabbitte drinking brandy late in the evening,smoking a cigar,looking up words in the dictionary,playing the violin a la Shelock Holmes,and talking to his mates(Gilmore,Howlin and De Rossa)about how he singlehandedly turned Ireland into a modern,progressive country

I recall listening to Morning Ireland a while ago thought it was Mary Lou when it turned out to be Lucinda, I thought afterwards that the content would have identified which one but it didn’t.
