Starting Off This week with a 2004 leaflet from Owen Martin of The Workers Party running in Finglas.

On then to a leaflet from a new political party called ‘Slí Níos Fearr’ which “aims to bring about the real changes we need in this country – the kind of common-sense reform you and I talk of on the radio ‘phoneins’ and down at the corner shop.”

then to a November 1982 Leaflet for Dan Kiely, Denis Foley and Tom McEllistrim running for Fianna Fail in Kerry North. Note how Kiely mentions he is in favour of a pro life amendment.

Again from Kerry but this time Kerry South in 1981 a leaflet from Labours Michael Moynihan. The final page covers national issues and has a great image of the Shopping basket which was something used a lot in elections up until the early 90s.
