Protest against the proposed Welfare Reforms, Stormont, 11 September

The Northern Ireland Committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions have agreed to hold a protest against the proposed Welfare Reforms at:

12 noon, on Tuesday 11th September 2012, on the Steps of Stormont, Parliament Buildings.

The protest is to coincide with the NI Assembly’s new legislative session, at which they will be discussing the introduction to the NI Assembly by the DSD Minister Nelson McCausland of Welfare “Reform” legislation.

(Please note this changed date and time. The event was originally planned for Monday 10th but another event at the same location would have made our protest less effective).
