Yes, Marcus Counihan was the first Green elected in Ireland, to Killarney UDC (or was it Kerry CC?) in 1985. Mind you, it wasn’t the Green Party then, it was the Green Alliance.

2. By inter-county, is that just senior championship or do league and minors count? I’d say James Reilly is odd man there, he has more of a rugby look about him.

2. Am actually going by their bios in old Nealons books, so I presume Senior Inter County could be League, Championship or even one of those competitions like the Walsh cup run early in the year.
