and finally from 2011 and mentioning again as its getting a lot of hits.. a ‘Tips for Canvassers’ leaflet from Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan.

Fiachra O’Ceallachair who is mentioned on that DL/Lab newsletter was recently appointed by Dinny McGinley to the board of the Údarás.

Heard he is decent enough. Though pretty remarkable that a Ring based candidate, who is now a representative on the Údarás would produce a piece of literature entirely in Irish. Seems a bit curious/

I remember him from Maynooth, though I doubt he’d remember me. A bit of a hack, I always thought, but decent all the same.

The Dungarvan Electoral area, would be in the main English speaking and Dungarvan UDC, where he also represented would have no Gaeltacht areas.

Ok, well thats fair enough, although I think billingual literature is more effective than Irish and English literature. I think there has been an improvement in the amount of Irish in leaflets in recent times, which is a positive
