Starting off with “We Are Family” a series of flyers for Marriage Equality produced by The Community Foundation of Ireland.

Then from the 1998 Assembly Elections campaign a letter to Belfast voters from Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.

A flyer for a “Water Is A Human Right -No To Privatisation” meeting held last night in Stoneybatter

Last week I got a large package of material from Scotland with leaflets etc from The Scottish Independence Referendum (mostly Yes stuff and very little from The Left) , I have doubles of plenty of them so if anyone wants I can send them on some spare leaflets.

Given the Scottish Referendum I thought I’d post these… Two SNP leaflets from the 1980’s

“Anti Austerity Voice”, a newsletter from the AAA Dublin South West branch which announces former Socialist Party MEP Paul Murphy as candidate in the Dublin South West By Election.

And finally a “Join Fianna Fail” leaflet from 1975

Starting off with the above Fianna Fail postcard from some time between 1979 and 1982. Its unusual to see a picture of Leinster House with all the cars outside.

Then from the 1974 Local Elections a Leaflet from Pat Carroll (husband of Joan Burton), Griff Cashman, Pat Lacey and Jimmy Somers who were running for The Labour Party in Area Number 4 Cabra / Arran Quay

Then to the General Election of 1973 and ‘Election News’ from Official Sinn Fein

And finally something that turned up on the wonderful Hatful of History site …a pamphlet (probably) distributed by the Communist Party of Great Britain in the early 1960s defending the building of The Berlin Wall.

From the Clár of the 1984 Ogra Fianna Fail National Conference, details of the Disco as well as candidate profiles. Among the candidates were Ciaran Haughey , Miacheál Martin and former Presidential hopeful Sean Gallagher.

The above is a collage of some of the posters that were in a friends relatives attic. Destined for the skip …. my friend saw them … and now those and other posters , as well as a haul of leaflets, booklets etc are in my attic !
On then to the Programme for the 1987 Cairde Fail ‘Dinnéar An Taoisigh’ . Includes a list of raffle prizes and menu (which includes cigars after the tea and coffee)

From the winter 1975 edition of “Iris Fianna Fail” an article “Women -Why We Need More of Them in Politics”.

From the 1948 General Election Campaign a Labour Party leaflet “Wings of Death” attacking Fianna Fails spending on Aircraft rather than on TB sufferers.
