That’s almost all folks… until the New Year. December 16, 2008

Winter Scene

Time for a rest, some recuperation, recharging the batteries [insert your chosen cliche of choice here]. No, really it is. I want a holiday and I’m going to take one for the next two weeks.

It’s been a remarkable year on many different levels – both personal and political – and well worth considering what it all means. But that, I think, is for the New Year.

My thanks to our contributors, to all of you who comment and those who just dip in from time to time.

I’ll check in over Christmas (there’s a couple of small issues that might be worth posting about) and the Irish Left Archive will be back on January 5th.

Le Gach Dea-Ghuí Don Nollaig agus don Athbhliain

Nollaig Shona Daoibh.

Merry Christmas WbS, and hurry back – I don’t comment as often as I should but I’m a regular reader and will miss the posts!

First up, many thanks all, much appreciated. Secondly, Garibaldy, I think you should put up the IRB piece. I have two small pieces I’ll post over the next week or so. One, John will be pleased to hear, is on the recapitalisation… 🙂

I thought about stopping next week for two weeks, but I figure this way I’ll start my own posts back up properly around December 31st, and it’s still almost two weeks of a break.

WbS, I really don’t know how you do it. Thanks for making redundancy more enjoyable by providing me with a daily post school-run routine, however sad:

‘I wonder what’s up on CLR today? What, more BICO stuff?!’

Will comment more in ’09…

You’d be very welcome to. I’m sorry to hear about the redundancy. Hope that more than the CLR is ameliorating it, or better still ending it.

John is most pleased to hear that WBS. How else will I know what to think?! 😉

All the same, a huge thanks for your presence and hard work over the past year.

John doesn’t need the CLR to tell him how to think. However the CLR needs C&S to update on all matters post-punk and esoteric, and yes, non Marxian left.

Merry is a good word.
