A great selection from AK at the IELB… starting with…
Eamon Gilmore, “Having helped lead the campaign to reform his old party” , running for the Democratic Left in 1992.
From the very party he led ‘the campaign to reform’, Renee Prendergast running in the 1975 Galway West by-election where Gilmore may well have canvassed for her.
From 1980 The IRSPs ‘Hunger Strike Bulletin’ Issue 2 which contains a letter from John Nixon and a diary of events for the period between the 26th of October and the 4th of November 1980.
On then to 1996 and something very different, A very interesting PD document “A Changing State – Reforming and Rewarding the Public Service” which may contain a few things that are being considered at the minute.
Then from the 2004 LE a leaflet from SWP candidate Dave Lordan running in Ballybrack.
…and finally the 1999 Local Election Results complete with full count details.
The IRSP bulletin is a good historical piece to have.
