On the plus side: This video has had 130,000 views in its first four days on YouTube.
On the minus side, as pointed out by Dee in the comments on Mamanpoulet, there is an unpleasant stereotyping along class lines: it’s the young men with working class accents who are homophobic, while the victim and those who stand up for him are middle class.

It’s a tricky one. I think the accents are a problem.
I was discussing this with someone who works in schools and their opinion was that it’s all a bit too polished, too drama school as is the finale. This is in some respects the Fame approach to these matters, everyone getting together to deal with it which seems unrealistic. But the initial bullying is, when compared with the living nightmare that this can be for some people, very tame indeed. As indeed is the language used.
That’s their tuppence on it for what it’s worth.
It’s in a good cause so it’s hard to critique in some ways, but I think it might be a bit of a misstep.
Though what works is hard to tell as well, so a step, even a misstep, is better than nothing at all.
