Alessio Rastani:

“I’ve been dreaming about this for three years.”

“I dream of another recession.”

“The governments don’t rule the World, Goldman Sachs rules the World.”

A financial trader who appeared on the BBC was not a hoaxer, the broadcaster has said after doubt was cast on his credentials.

It issued a statement after Twitter users suggested that Alessio Rastani was not a trader.

I’m having a hard time deciding whose getting punked worse –

The BBC or us

(The EU proposal is some sort of shite called the EMS – insolvent banks get money, we pay the banks to get the money – another c. €2 trillion in loans created out of thin air that we gotta pay back)

I’ll answer that – it’s us

100% agree. I got a wee chuckle when the presenter said their jaws were dropping in the studio. What, they’re so used to waffle that someone stating the obvious creates shock?

No it’s not a hoax. Here’s a statement from the BBC Press office saying he’s legit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2011/09_september/27/statement.shtml

The media hoaxers Afristani is supposedly connected to have denied he’s part of their group: http://www.yeslab.org/rastani

He really is what he appears to be, which is a rational, well adjusted, calculating business man. The fact that he’s well adjusted to 21st Century capitalism means he’s also a sociopath is simply an unfortunate side effect.
