From East Wall History Group… April 15, 2016

Posted by guestposter in Uncategorized.

an account of the death of an ICA member – Paddy Lynch, GPO garrison – during the retreat from the GPO.

“I saw him being shot. He was not shot with his own gun. He was hit in the neck. It happened just outside the wall of O’Briens Mineral Water Factory in Moore Lane”.

Also from EWHG:

Excellent documentary produced by NEAR TV filmed during recent 1916 commemorative events .
Amongst those covered are the evening at the Sean O’Casey Theatre which we hosted with the Gallery of Photography and also the unveiling of the Irish Citizen Army plaque at the North Strand .
A great record of activities , well done to Eoin McDonnell and all at NEAR TV for a great production . ENJOY
