National Print Museum: printing a replica of the 1916 Proclamation April 24, 2016

Posted by WorldbyStorm in Uncategorized.

Here’s the details.

In honour of the original compositors and printer, today we relived this day one hundred years ago and printed a limited edition, letterpress replica on the Museum’s Wharfedale Stop Cylinder Press.
Huge thank you to everyone who supported this very special project and in particular the printers Alf McCormack, Freddie Snowe and William Ryan.
