CLR Book Club – Week 13 November 22, 2016

Interesting discussion on literary fiction last week. I read relatively little these days. To be honest I’m too busy and find my reading divides along history/politics and genre fiction lines. Do others find that?

And, what about our book? How are people getting on?

I think I mentioned before, next time we might take a chapter of a work and discuss it for a fortnight or even a month. I’ve a few suggestions lined up (again!).

Tá brón orm a mhúinteoir. Ghoid an madra mo leabhar agus d’fhág istigh i bpoll nuathochailte sa reilig.

Just finished the book. Anyone finish reading yet?

Thoughts on the transition of the “voice of the graveyard”?

The development and then reduction (not the best word but I’m having a brain fart at the moment) of the Frenchman learning Irish?

Seriously with the academics here someone has to know to do some proper literary criticism.

Character development or lack there of?
