There is a book about Angola that was produced in Russia. The front cover shows two white soldiers driving an open top landrover One of those men is from Limerick and he was in the South African Army at that time. The Photo was taken in Angola.

I was listening to RTÉ radio today. There’s a documentary going to be broadcast next week (a repeat, I think) about a Mayo man who died a hero in the US army – in Vietnam. Two men who took the wrong side in two conflicts.
