Yep, going to have to overhaul this idea. Over Christmas I’ll put forward a few proposals. All welcome to chip in. Or indeed now. Suggestions welcome.

Three suggestions for improvements
1) select a theme that appeals to more people
2) choose a free download (even a translation) that everyone can access
3) to get comments and discussions moving, start off with a short piece (rather than a tome/tomb) that people can get through quickly i.e. an essay, short story, novella etc
People may feel more inclined to have a go at reading and commenting on the selected download if there’s no financial committment to buying a book they may not even like and no great time committment to sticking with it to the end.
