It looks like a lot of the Sindo this week has yet to be put online, unless the content of the paper has been drastically scaled back (we can hope). I’m sure the many soccer fans here will be interested to read Eoghan Harris’s take on Jurgen Klopp and what lessons he can teach us for life. Particularly tasteful is this remark.
Remember, Klopp cannot copy the rich clubs’ cynical ploy of signing the most promising players to deprive other clubs of them. For example, Chelsea has about 35 signed-up players, sitting around idle, like immigrants in direct provision.
The Cedar Lounge Revolution 
Apparently the sindo is reporting that Regina Doherty is “open to coalition with SF”! That coupled with other recent utterances and actions would lead me to believe that all is not well in the blueshirts.Talk about turning full circle or what!

She’s sought plenty times in the past some easy brownie points through predictable SF bashing so I’d wonder. There’s smarter than her in the party too at that level though maybe that’s unfair. Though that backbench FG chap who said his piece weeks ago in the Dail re the Brian Stack murder gave a cautionary lesson that the old ways maybe don’t work so well. He tried to finger Dessie Ellis over a crime he couldn’t have committed, made a bags of it really.
Are there FG types looking ahead to the probable new leader of SF and wondering is she the type of respectable privately educated head girl type that they might do business with?

She did a lot of spoofing in the course of her anti SF bashing ,claiming to have received “death threats” etc and conjuring up lists of “victims”.I would say she has had a falling out with some of her colleagues and is saying this new stuff to outrage them.

Her continuing beef with the late Shane McEntee’s daughter Helen who is another Meath East TD is well known; I think she blamed her for the fact she doesn’t have a full Cabinet post. Though that may not have anything to do with the price of fish. Always pictured FF to be more likely to end up in coalition with SF anyway, if or when it happens
