Team Vulverella messes with my temporal perception:
It’s not dark yet, people.
Photoshop? The past? My head hurts.

Yes, was in there at lunchtime and there was a great atmosphere, loads of young people (late teens, early 20’s) .

I was looking in the wrong place.
Here’s the Twitter page of the Sligo campaign.
Particularly good to see younger people and students from IT Sligo there.
Apologies for linking to Farcebook earlier.

The Polish Women & Razem group were good in Berlin, talking about broadening the front against the PiSers and the CC by demanding a enquiry into child abuse by the Catholic Church in Poland and equal pay legislation.

Now the bad news. The Government remains obdurate. Enda is told by ‘knowledgable people’ (with pint glasses in their hands ?) that reducing the penalty for induced abortion will benefit batterers of pregnant women. That well known feminist Frances Fizgerald parrots the same. We are told, too, that such a move could be in breach of the constitution. If the second is true, one can only paraphrase Dickens and declare that the constitution ‘is a ass, a idiot’. If Enda and his mates believe the first, they are fools: if they don’t believe, they are liars. Come over Donald Trump and make us the 51st State of the Union!

Hundreds of thousands of school students in Spain stage protests and strikes on International Women’s Day.
The strikes are organised by the school students union organised by the soon to be sister party of the Socialist Party.
