Signs of Hope – A continuing series – Week 15 April 13, 2017

Posted by WorldbyStorm in Uncategorized.

Gewerkschaftler suggested this recently:

I suggest this blog should have a regular (weekly) slot where people can post happenings at the personal or political level that gives them hope that we’re perhaps not going to hell in a handbasket as quickly as we thought. Or as the phlegmatic Germans put it “hope dies last”.

Any contributions this week?

Trump’s administration continues to fall apart. They almost lost a seat in Kansas. The democrats are supposedly pushing a more bernie sanders agenda. FG and FF have shown their true colors and can be attacked as such. You can Imagine every non FF leader at the next election debates saying why didn’t you prevent FG from doing such and such. I suppose even in bad news there are signs of hope

Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s surge in support in the polls of late, particularly since the televised 11-way debate, has been amazing to watch.

A poll published by Le Monde today has his support increasing still, shading Fillon and just two points behind Le Pen and Macron, well within the margin of error.
