I suggest this blog should have a regular (weekly) slot where people can post happenings at the personal or political level that gives them hope that we’re perhaps not going to hell in a handbasket as quickly as we thought. Or as the phlegmatic Germans put it “hope dies last”.

The Eurovision boycott here has been very heartening to see.

Same sex marriage will be legalised in Taiwan.

I tried to post this before but surely Raise the Roof in Dublin this Saturday is one?

One independent in Dun Laoghaire with part of his election poster in 7 languages. Passing through Dublin City Centre and a FF candidate form a migrant background. Perhaps a list of these candidates might give us all hope.
