Fireball January 15, 2022

Not sure how I missed this news, but apparently there was a meteor over Pittsburgh on New Year’s Day that exploded in the atmosphere. The weather was overcast so the explosion, the equivalent of 27 tonnes of TNT, was obscured, but had it been visible it would have been a hundred times brighter than a full moon. The sound of the explosion was caught and some saw the flash too, though they were located further away.
