Given the news of the Fiscal Treaty vote, I’ve put together an index of leaflets from previous European Referenda

And its a big weekend for Fianna Fail too, so here’s the Clar and some of its highlights ….. The motion on the National Anthem is great.

“Do you give a sod about the future of turf cutting in Ireland?” A flyer for The Turf Cutters protest outside the Dail on the 7th of March next

A post Cuban Missile Crisis CND Leaflet – “Seven Days That Shook The World”

A Leaflet from Denis Keane -Socialist Party -2009 Local Elections Mulhuddart

Finally “Why Irish women must have the right to choose” a 2002 Pamphlet from The Socialist Workers Party

Very interesting Clar that. Just flicked through it, but… well, food for thought. They’re very exercised about locking into social media.

‘The Soldiers of the Legion of the Rearguard’ reminds me of something a pantomime Dame would sing – I can see Danny La Rue doing it with a knowing smile…

Is it meant to be satirical? I cannot listen to it with a straight face.

James Connolly, of course, was one of the founders of Fianna Fáil, as the video makes plain.

the layout is very good. a priced menu for the resteraunt in the rds and the media and social media section is interesting. smart way to use grass roots in the modern world. but then on the flip side the lack of motions would suggest lack of active involvement.
