Excellent – thanks for the notice.
Mr. Keen is no Marxist economist, but his analysis of the role of the growth and contraction of debt as a driver of capitalist crises is very useful in understanding what is going on. However he argues convincingly for a general debt jubilee, and an end to mindless austerity fetishism, which puts him well out of the conventional spectrum.
He has also be consistently supportive of the Occupy movement in Melbourne and Sydney.
