I’m not advocating this but only complete legalisation of drugs would make the Kinahans unemployed because it would effectively put the control and supply of cocaine into the hands of the Government.

But this hot potato is an entirely different debate for another day.

What we need are stronger laws to discourage recreational drug use in order to hit the Kinahans in their pocket.

I reckon people would think twice about taking cocaine if
they knew there were serious ramifications – including significant jail time.

Suggesting sensible policy while not advocating it then swerving towards the hang’em and flog’em angle (yeah that’s not been tried by any state before!), FFS why can’t we have specialists in drugs policy internationally writing newspaper columns on the topic rather than crypto-conservative eejits?!
