Looking forward to my first public event as part of an organised ULA contingent – on the May Day march in Cork.

Happy International Workers’ Day to everyone!

Pretty sure they didn’t have a banner or placards – crowd wasn’t so big that I would have missed them

Some were less than that – ULA was the biggest contingent with about 20 placards.

Both SP and SWP were mainly presenting as the ULA with only small groupings holding their banners and sales teams.

Actually come to think of it this was the first May day march in Dublin with no Labour Party/Youth banner and I didn’t see a Sinn Fein banner either.

I saw SF placards at Dublin protest and TDs Mary Lou McDonald (platform speaker), Dessie Ellis and Seán Crowe with Cllr Larry O’Toole.
