Whatever happened to The Campaign for Labour Policies , “a campaign of grassroots Labour party members and supporters for an alternative political programme to the one now being pursued by government.” that began mid 2012 ?
Did they leave or just give up the ghost? No activity for over a year on their twitter or their website.
I’m genuinely curious as opposed to wanting to just slag off Labour.

Most have left The Labour Party. One is now a Workers’ Party councillor!!

Interesting question. There weren’t too many actively involved and it was such an obviously lost cause, that my suspicion is a few people left Labour and the rest gave up. I’d be curious to hear something more solid though.

I have left the Labour Party and can no longer be called a “grass roots” member. I’m looking for a Left candidate to support in Meath East.

John, I’d imagine Seamus McDonagh will stand again in Meath East for the Workers’ Party.

John, is the Meath Centre Left group still on the go?

‘dormant’ would be closer than ‘on the go’

have no idea what “labour” policies were being proposed. To see what british labour were proposing in 1945 and what is happening today have a look at https://eurofree3.wordpress.com/2015/04/27/labour-manifesto-1945-any-party-offering-something-similar-in-2015/. Do let us all know if any party is proposing anything similar
